"Chuck" Presents at WonderCon

According to WonderCon's Twitter page, many of "Chuck"'s cast and crew will be holding a presentation at this year's WonderCon in San Francisco this April.

Chances are good there will be discussion about Brandon's love-to-hate/hate-to-love role as Agent Shaw.

I should be attending and will update folks on any Brandon news on my Twitter page.

NBC has released the official synopsis for the 8th episode of "Chuck" which airs after the Winter Olympics on March 1st at 8pm on NBC.

CHUCK GOES UNDERCOVER AS THE WORLD’S MOST DANGEROUS ASSASSIN— KRISTIN KREUK (”SMALLVILLE”) AND BRANDON ROUTH (”SUPERMAN RETURNS”) GUEST STAR—Chuck (Zachary Levi) promises to cook dinner for Hannah (guest star Kristin Kreuk), Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) and Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) but must first assume the identity of the world’s most dangerous assassin for his latest mission. Meanwhile, Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) is determined to keep her relationship with Shaw (guest star Brandon Routh) strictly professional. Adam Baldwin, Scott Krinsky, Vik Sahay and Mark Christopher Lawrence also star.

Brandon Routh Extends "Chuck" Run!

EW's Ask Ausiello treated us to several "Chuck" spoilers, one of them being Brandon Routh's stint as CIA Agent Daniel Shaw has been extended for an unnamed number of episodes. Expect to see Brandon in more than 8 episodes of this season's "Chuck." Good news, Brandon/Shaw fans!

Question: I absolutely love Kristin Kreuk as Hannah on Chuck. Any idea how many more episodes she will be in this season?
Ausiello: Just one. Schwartz and Fedak confirmed that Kreuk’s arc will conclude on March 1. Meanwhile, Brandon Routh’s stay has been extended yet again, although Team um… Schwedak (?) wouldn’t provide an updated episode count.

New "Chuck" Tonight

Brandon appears in the 7th episode of "Chuck" tonight at 8 on NBC titled "Chuck vs. The Mask."

CHUCK MUST PROTECT HANNAH WHEN THEY FIND THEMSELVES PARTNERS ON A MISSION - Chuck and Hannah unexpectedly become part of agent Daniel Shaws latest mission. Much to Sarahs chagrin, she gets paired with Shaw, who seems to be trying to get close to her. Meanwhile, Morgan and Ellie continue their mission to get to the bottom of Chucks secretive and strange behavior. Adam Baldwin also stars.

This will be the last episode of "Chuck" to air this month due to Winter Olympics coverage on NBC. "Chuck" returns March 1 with episode 8: "Chuck vs. The Fake Name."

Entertainment Weekly's Mike Ausiello has some news about Brandon and Courtney on tv.

Apparently, Brandon has a shirtless scene on the March 1st episode of "Chuck."

It’s a really big deal for me. I worked out like crazy for Superman Returns, but stayed behind the leotard most of the time so you never knew just how in shape I had gotten. Then I took some time off and let my body go a little. So when I heard this shirtless scene was coming up, I worked hard to have something good to show people.

The third season premiere of spy comedy Chuck airs this Sunday at 9PM on NBC. Brandon is set to appear in eight episodes of the show, starting with episode four - the following is a synopsis for his first episode appearance January 18th.

Meanwhile, Morgan (Joshua Gomez) gets promoted to assistant manager and must deal with Jeff (Scott Krinsky) and Lester’s (Vik Sahay) latest hijinks. "Chuck" Premiere Possibly Moved Up

EW.com - Mike Ausiello reports that NBC's "Chuck" that Brandon is guest-starring in this season may be premiering as early as October instead of the reported May 2010 date.

If Chuck does come back sooner rather than later, the chances of NBC ordering additional episodes beyond the 13 it initially commissioned increases dramatically.
