Director Joel Kelly based the story on his own experience during an especially painful break-up with a live-in girlfriend.
Joel Kelly and Courtney Ford grew up together. Brandon agreed to star in the film two days before he found out he officially landed the part of Superman. The crew shot for 4 days; Brandon flew to Sydney, Australia two weeks later to begin his wire-work training for Superman Returns. Shot on 35 mm film stock. Premiered at the CineVegas Film Festival June 12th, 2006 with both actors and director in attendance. Played at the Palm Springs SHORTFEST August 2006. Released to US residents on iTunes November 17th, 2006 with distribution provided by Shorts International. The film may be available via iTunes for international residents in 2007. Courtney Ford and Roberto Orci are siblings. |
